True Ending (NMG)

True Ending (NMG) might be the best run in TUNIC. It's a little less glitchy and fragile than Unrestricted but nonetheless is a diverse and energizing showcase.

Requiring all pages forces a very interesting route: major items first (orb, RTSR, wand, dagger), breaking into the Cathedral for Laurels, and a blink-fest boss rush with Overworld clean-up sprinkled throughout. The requirement of 10 fairies breaks up the action, and the Golden Path at the end of the run is an intimidating end-cap. But without an Heir to fight, there's much less pressure.

This category does not get the love it deserves. It's a lot to bite off until you've played some of the simpler categories, but it is among my favorite to run.
