Clear the fairies and regain mana

  1. Run to the first landing past the save point and wait for the wave of fairies to arrive. Dispatch them with the wand and collect the mana they drop to refill mana.
  2. Descend the next set of ramps and hug the north edge of the upper descending path to avoid triggering the 3 addl. fairies.
  3. Ice beam the switch across the gap and equip bombs. Continue to the Administrator tower.
Optimization: You can dispatch the wave of fairies with a bomb slightly faster, and recover more mana, but less consistently.
